### STS Best Practices

#### For Sellers

**Pricing Strategies:**

* **Research First** - Check existing listings for similar Pokemon
* **Competitive Pricing** - Price slightly lower than competition for faster sales
* **Value Factors:**
  * Perfect IVs = Premium price
  * Good Nature = Higher value
  * Hidden Ability = Increased worth
  * Shiny = Significant markup
  * Egg Moves = Added value
  * Level/EV Training = Bonus value

**What Sells Well:**

* Competitive-ready Pokemon (perfect IVs + nature)
* Shiny Pokemon (any rarity)
* Starters (especially with good stats)
* Pseudo-legendaries (Dratini, Larvitar, Beldum, etc.)
* Meta Pokemon for competitive battling
* Rare spawns from specific biomes
* Pokemon with Hidden Abilities

**Listing Tips:**

1. ✅ Price fairly for quick sales
2. ✅ List during peak hours (more buyers online)
3. ✅ Perfect Pokemon command premium prices
4. ✅ Be patient with rare Pokemon
5. ✅ Update listings based on market demand

#### For Buyers

**Smart Shopping:**

* **Compare Prices** - Don't buy the first listing you see
* **Check Stats** - Verify IVs, nature, and ability before purchasing
* **Timing** - Prices may be better during off-peak hours
* **Negotiations** - Some sellers may accept offers via chat

**Red Flags:**

* ❌ Price too good to be true (double-check stats)
* ❌ Missing key information in listing
* ❌ Level 1 Pokemon priced extremely high (unless perfect stats)

**Good Deals to Watch For:**

* ✅ Perfect IV Pokemon priced below market
* ✅ Shiny Pokemon with decent stats
* ✅ Rare Pokemon listed by players who don't know their value
* ✅ Breeding pairs (two Pokemon with complementary IVs)

### STS Economics

**Average Price Ranges (Examples - adjust based on server economy):**

| Pokemon Type                     | Price Range     |

| Uncommon, Random IVs             | 2,000-5,000     |
| Common, 3-4 Perfect IVs          | 3,000-8,000     |
| Rare, Random IVs                 | 5,000-15,000    |
| Any, 5 Perfect IVs + Good Nature | 10,000-30,000   |
| Perfect 6 IV + Optimal Nature    | 20,000-50,000+  |
| Shiny, Random IVs                | 15,000-50,000   |
| Shiny, Perfect Stats             | 50,000-200,000+ |
| Legendary (if tradeable)         | 30,000-100,000+ |

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Note:** Prices vary greatly based on supply, demand, and server economy. Use these as rough guidelines only!
{% endhint %}

## 🎲 Wonder Trade

### What is Wonder Trade?

Wonder Trade lets you trade a Pokemon and receive a completely random Pokemon in return! It's exciting and unpredictable!

### Accessing Wonder Trade

```
/wt
```

or

```
/wondertrade
```

***

### How Wonder Trade Works

**Step 1: Open Wonder Trade**

```
/wt
```

**Step 2: Select Pokemon**

* Choose a Pokemon from your party
* This Pokemon will be sent into the Wonder Trade pool
* You cannot get it back!

**Step 3: Receive Random Pokemon**

* Instantly receive a random Pokemon from the pool
* Could be anything from common to rare!
* The surprise is part of the fun!

{% hint style="info" %}
**How the Pool Works:** When you Wonder Trade, you receive a Pokemon that another player previously submitted. Your Pokemon goes into the pool for someone else!
{% endhint %}

***

### Wonder Trade Strategy

#### What to Send

**Good Options:**

* ✅ Duplicate Pokemon you don't need
* ✅ Common Pokemon (others might need for Dex)
* ✅ Decent Pokemon to pay it forward
* ✅ Breedjects (breeding leftovers with 3-4 IVs)

**Bad Options:**

* ❌ Your favorite Pokemon (you can't get it back!)
* ❌ Trash Pokemon (not cool to other players)
* ❌ Pokemon you might regret losing

#### What You Might Receive

**Common Results:**

* Common spawns
* Starter Pokemon
* Basic evolution Pokemon
* Breedjects with decent IVs

**Rare Results:**

* Rare biome Pokemon
* Pokemon with 4-5 perfect IVs
* Shiny Pokemon (very rare!)
* Hard-to-find Pokemon
* Version exclusives

**Legendary Results (Very Rare):**

* Perfect IV Pokemon
* Shiny competitive Pokemon
* Legendary Pokemon (if tradeable)

{% hint style="success" %}
**Pro Tip:** Some generous players send high-value Pokemon through Wonder Trade! You might get lucky!
{% endhint %}

***

### Wonder Trade Tips

1. **Use Duplicates** - Send Pokemon you have multiple of
2. **Help New Players** - Send useful Pokemon like starters
3. **Clear PC Space** - Wonder Trade is faster than releasing
4. **Hope for the Best** - You might get something amazing!
5. **Pay It Forward** - If you get something great, send something good too!
6. **Dex Completion** - Good for finding Pokemon you're missing
7. **Don't Expect Miracles** - Most trades are common Pokemon
