# Hunts

Hunts challenge you to find and catch specific Pokemon. There are both global hunts (server-wide) and solo hunts (personal challenges).

## 🔧 How Hunts Work

1. Check active hunts with `/hunts`
2. Go out and catch the target Pokemon
3. The Pokemon must match the required properties (species, ability, gender, nature)
4. Turn in your catch to receive rewards

When you turn in a hunt, the caught Pokemon is **taken** as part of the exchange. Make sure you're okay parting with it before turning in.

Only Pokemon caught **after** the hunt started count. You can't turn in Pokemon from your existing collection.

## 📋 Hunt Types

### Global Hunts

* **4 global hunts** active at any time
* Everyone on the server can participate
* Hunts last **5 minutes** each
* New hunts spawn every **2 minutes** after one ends
* First player to complete a global hunt wins

### Solo Hunts

Personal hunts available in four difficulty levels:

| Difficulty | Points | Time Limit | Cooldown  |
| ---------- | ------ | ---------- | --------- |
| Easy       | 10     | 5 minutes  | 2 minutes |
| Normal     | 15     | 5 minutes  | 2 minutes |
| Medium     | 25     | 5 minutes  | 2 minutes |
| Hard       | 40     | 5 minutes  | 2 minutes |

## 🎁 Rewards

Rewards vary based on the hunt difficulty:

| Rarity     | Money   | PokeBuilder Tokens | Kingdom Stars |
| ---------- | ------- | ------------------ | ------------- |
| Common     | $3,000  | 5                  | -             |
| Uncommon   | $5,000  | 7                  | -             |
| Rare       | $8,000  | 10                 | 1             |
| Ultra Rare | $15,000 | 15                 | 2             |

## 🔍 Matching Properties

When hunting, the Pokemon you catch must match:

* **Species** (exact match)
* **Ability** (must match)
* **Gender** (must match)
* **Nature** (must match)

## 🏆 Leaderboard

Hunt points accumulate over time. Check the leaderboard to see top hunters on the server.
